The suggestion follows an investigation into harmonising the countries’ legal systems. The two countries are separated by 1900 km (1200 miles) of sea. Suicide car bomber kills seven in Kohat, Pakistan

Monday, April 19, 2010 Seven people were killed and 26 injured in the city of Kohat in northwestern Pakistan on Sunday after a suicide bomber detonated a car bomb near a police station, police officials said. “It was a suicide attack, the target was a police station,” Dilawar Khan Bangash, police chief of Kohat, told AFP news agency. Wednesday, November 21, 2007 A tree known as the Anne Frank Tree, a 150 year-old chestnut tree that was made famous in the writings of Anne Frank‘s diary, has been saved from being chopped down by a Dutch court. Swiss cabinet reorganised, Finance Minister in coma

Tuesday, September 23, 2008 Swiss Finance Minister Hans-Rudolf Merz has suffered a major heart attack and had to be hospitalised. He was in Eastern Switzerland when he collapsed. Later on Sunday he was flown by helicopter to Bern University Hospital where he was placed into an artificial coma. Race to save Chilean miners trapped underground from spiralling into depression continues

Thursday, September 2, 2010 It has emerged that the 33 Chilean miners trapped underground after the mine they were working in collapsed could be brought to the surface in a shorter time than was initially feared.
